I really enjoyed the Hunger Games trilogy, but I left this series slightly dissapointed. There was nothing wrong with Mockingjay, I just was expecting a bit... more in the series finale, I suppose. I was hoping that there would be a final "Game" in Mockingjay, because that was my favorite element of the story. The deaths were less dramatic, so I had to re-read to check who was left 6-feet-under. I preferred to have a last moment with the characters who got the cut. Even with these drawbacks, though, Collins sums up this series very well. She tied up her loose ends very well. So overall, while this book was my least favorite in the series, it was pretty good on its own.
